Marcus Henriksson a.k.a. Minilogue/Son Kite x Kuniyuki Takahashi x J.A.K.A.M. (JUZU a.k.a. MOOCHY) are proud to announce the birth of their new unit, MYSTICS.
The debut album "5 ELEMENTS" is based on the ancient concept of the five elements (water, metal, earth, fire, and wood) and the three different sensibilities and passions that resonate across borders and languages. With the addition of a dub mix by Naoyuki Uchida, he succeeded in creating an original sound that defies categorization, based on deep house and techno, intermingling contemporary techno and reggae sounds. The result is an important work of electronic world music for a new era that will give a ray of inspiration to the current chaotic world situation and music scene.
5 ELEMENT" = the five elements. The BPM is a bit on the high side, around 110. The beats are earthy and positive, and the melodies that dance with the scales are gentle and delicate, yet have a real strength to them. The result is an inquisitive sound that will take us on a sound journey.
MYSTICS is a fusion of classical and modern music, a life-like electronic sound that passes from the past to the present and connects to the future on the earth's time axis. This is the sound world of MYSTICS!
